In summary those of our games whose use our common network framework do not collect or ask any sensible personal information and, regarding the other information that could be collected we try to reduce it to the only needed by the functionalities requested/activated by the user/player (continue reading for more details).
Data that we gather: every game installation generates an anonymous unique id. That id will change if you reinstall or install the app in other device, but is enough to allow us to offer coherent and improving experience to the player. That unique id along with some public network information will be sent to our servers whenever the game needs to access the offered functionalities. Also, for those players that want to recover their game experience in other devices we offer the possibility to optionally link their installations to an email for allowing recovering their game advancements in other devices. In that case email will be used only for that purpose (send confirmation link emails for login or associating new devices) and we allow users to opt-out other usages like alerts or notifications. Related to this topic, only for some games, we also offer the player the possibility of registering a public nick to be shown in the public score rating tables. This is optional and if no nick is set an unique anonymous auto generated nick will be shown instead. Players can change or remove their nicks at any moment as long as the new nick is not already in usage by other player.
Some of our games offer networking functions offer players to optionally join/submit to/their matches/plays online and also offer publishing your scores/records to a shared lobby/billboard or participate on network matches. In that case all your game activity generated, along with your network public information while you participate in the online match will be sent to our servers for allowing shared operation, as usual in network games. In some cases some of these telemetry data can be saved for further analysis purposes on improving our service. For some games a regional/geographical matching and public score service will be offered. If player want to participate in those, we will need to gather its coarse location or ask for it for allowing us to offer the service.
Also we would like to mention that third party services like for example if you installed our app from the Google Play (or other online or app stores) could collect more information about you, but that are beyond our control and that stores are subjected to their own privacy policies. Those stores offer us only anonymous statistics about user installations.
